Known in Japan as kanikama, crab sticks are made from surimi: white fish that's finely minced, flavoured and shaped to recreate the sweet taste and flaky texture of crab. Pre-cooked and ready to eat, they're the classic filling for California rolls and a quick, versatile addition to salads, wraps and noodle dishes.
Each 1kg pack serves 5 to 6 people.
Defrost in the fridge, remove the wrappers, then pull apart into shreds or slice into rounds. Roll with avocado and cucumber for California rolls, mix with Japanese mayonnaise and a little sriracha for kani salad, or add to fried rice and noodle soups at the last minute.
All our seafood is frozen to lock in quality from sea to doorstep. Keep frozen until needed and defrost in the fridge before serving. Once defrosted, eat within 24 hours and don't refreeze. Free delivery Tuesday to Friday on orders over £75, or collect from us if you're near South Ruislip.
