Orders are all placed online using our website, www.hookdseafood.com. Unfortunately, we do not accept any orders via any other platforms such as email or telephone.

Just before checkout, there will be an option to apply your promotional code.

Once you receive an order confirmation, your order has been well received and will be delivered to you on your requested delivery day. You do not need to do anything else.

You can cancel your order no later than 48 hours before your delivery day. After this, you cannot cancel your order. 

In light of COVID-19, we are making our deliveries as contactless as possible. For both deliveries taking place in our own vans and also via third party transport, the delivery colleagues will leave your parcel by the door and ring your doorbell to alert you that your seafood has arrived.

In this situation, as mentioned in the Terms and Conditions, your order will be left by the front door or in the place requested in your delivery instructions. We strongly advise against this as we do not accept any responsibility for missing / damaged goods, or products that are no longer suitable to consume due to temperature violation once the goods have been delivered.

All of our products are frozen, either in original packaging or vacuum-packed / sealed.

Orders within our delivery radius are made in our own temperature-controlled vehicles. For all other deliveries within UK via third-party transport, we use additional insulation and iced gel-packs within the box to ensure your seafood arrives in good condition. 

Yes. 100% of our external packaging is eco-friendly and sustainable. 

There is a common misconception that frozen seafood is inferior to fresh seafood. However, this is not the case. To find out more about the benefits of frozen seafood, please read our blog on this subject and let us know what you think. We guarantee the quality of our products. 

Our products all come with descriptions which give more of an insight into them and what they may be used for. In addition to this, we have a recipe page which provides various options on how you may wish to prepare your seafood. For items that may require further preparation before cooking, we also have video content with instructions to assist you at our Knowledge Hub page. We offer the option of both! You can either select the items you would like, or try out our themed seafood boxes.

Yes! Seafood in general is very healthy and many of our products boast rich nutrients, such as omega-3 fatty acids. For more information, please see the specific product descriptions on our main product page. 

Yes, all of our nutritional and allergen information can be found on the original packaging. 

Once you have received your seafood, it should be immediately transferred in the freezer.

No. Once defrosted, you cannot refreeze your seafood.
